The correspondence consists of reports from unions and other labor organisations to J. F. Neill, A. J. Edwards, H. J. Hawkins, and George Waite of the I.W.W. Club, Sydney. There is also some general non-I.W.W. correspondence, including letters to/from Frank Anstey, F. G. Tudor, Tom Mann, W. M. Hughes, Robert Hogg, Henry Dobson, Tom Baker, Harry Cook, Josiah Thomas, J. Sinclair, J. W. Bilson, J. C. Watson, W. G. Higgs, Ben Willett, Charles M. Barlow, Tom Tunnecliffe, F. J. Riley, John Barnes, H. Scott Bennett, J. R. Wilson, and E. J. Holloway. A further set of correspondence written to R. S. Ross and the Victorian Socialist Party, includes letters from C. J. Cough, Maurice Blackburn, W. Maloney, James Mathews, John Mullan, Frank Brennan, "Jack" Curtin, Charles Gray, Cecilia John, Vida Goldstein, and Albert Blakey. The organisations represented in the correspondence include the Sydney Labor Council, the Russian Association, Qld., the Trades Hall Council, Melb., the Women's Political Association of Victoria, the Australian Peace Alliance, the Socialist Federation of Australia, the International Socialist Club, and several anti-conscription groups.
