Description

Records of the Cheer Up Society Incorporated, comprise miscellaneous printed items, address presented to the CUS, stamps, badges and arm stripes, photographs, a dance program for the Jamestown branch and minutes, welcome home list, correspondence and raffle book for Kalangadoo branch. The collection also includes a published history of the Cheer Up Society during the First World War, account books mainly from the Second World War, a ledger book that covers the period between the wars, envelopes containing photographs, press cuttings from the First World War and cutting books from the second which are the most interesting parts of the collection.
