This is a small collection of records relating to the push of various Queensland women's groups to build a women's centre in the city of Brisbane, Queensland. It includes a copy of the project proposal and design plans.

The John Oxley Library is in temporary accommodation until 2006. Most material is kept off-site. Researchers wishing to use the manuscript collection should contact the research librarian prior to visiting the library to confirm the availability of the material.
