The Ravenswood Archives commenced 'officially' in 1988. Lorna Puflett, previously senior librarian until 1985 had accumulated a great deal of material of archival interest and she commenced her new position as the Ravenswood archivist in 1988. The collection contains: paper records dating back to the foundation of the school in 1901; over 9 000 photographs from 1904 onwards; a complete collection of school magazines/year books from 1925; samples of old school uniforms; including hats, ties, badges and sports gear, prize certificates, trophies, examples of pupils work. Ravenswood Archives also runs an Oral History Programme and a 'Women of Ravenswood' collection. Several school class groups visit the Archives annually to learn about the history of the school and for research.
