The collection consists mainly of the administrative files of Phyllis Mander-Jones and her assistants. They were created at the Australian High Commission in London during the compilation of Manuscripts in the British Isles relating to Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. The records comprise research notes, manuscript, typescript and printed lists, correspondence and drafts of the publication.
