Marks, farmer and grazier, speaks of her childhood, her family, her life as a farmer, breeding sheep, education of her children, shearing the sheep, death of her husband, hardship on the farm, refusal from the bank to lend money, getting rid of breeding sheep and getting involved in shearing, running the farm and attending agricultural meetings, School of Distance Education, being a mother and a teacher at the same time, winning the Queensland Rural Woman Award and the vital role of ABC television for farmers.
