Argues that alterations to the original text imposed western mainstream standards on the writing; questions the ethics of editorial 'invisibility' and 'collaboration'; suggests that criticism of Jack Horner's editorial intervention at the time of publishing distracted attention from the importance of the book as an attempt to expose child removal policies and living conditions of her people
