Was saddened to read of anne's passing in 2009. I was the Woman's Day photographer who worked with her on her Walkley Award winning story 'Why I am going to be a Nun.' I have cuttings of this story and was privileged to work with Anne. No doubt a brilliant journo and a nice person, although like many journalists at the time, not so nice after drinking too much. Unlike many of them, she recognised her problem and gave up. I saw her a couple years later following her recovery from this demon. I barely recognised her. She looked stunning. Had delightful conversation. I would not see her again. K.R.

“... the honey-voiced woman who
beckons and stands,
And gleams like a dream
in his face --
Like a marvellous dream
in his face? ....”

If you still have a copy of the story to which you refer could you let me have a copy - perhaps by pdf to suitef1@yahoo.com.au

Many thanks

Kind Regards
