Gillard Grabs Her Moment In History
As I edited the entry for Julia Gillard in the Australian Women’s Register today, I had to create a new occupational category, never used for an Australian woman before – PRIME MINISTER! Who would have thought? At 12:30 today (June 24, 2010), Australia’s first woman Governor General, her Excellency Ms Quentin Bryce, will swear into office Australia’s first women Prime Minister, the Honourable Ms Julia Gillard. I can’t wait to see the pictures!

Yes Nikki, you are making history as is Julia!!! Amazing news, who ever would have thought that we would see a woman G-G swearing a woman PM?
