Feminist Icons Make Philatelic History

As Farah Farouque points out, it’s a red letter day when women better known for their intellectual than their sporting prowess are ‘stamped for posterity’. Germaine Greer, Eva Cox, Elizabeth Evatt, and Anne Summers were chosen as Australian Legends for their commitment to gender equality as part of the Australia Day celebrations and will appear on an new Australia Post stamp series.
