World Boxing Federation Wants Female Boxers to Wear Skirts

Date: 1 November 2011

Women will get a chance to box in the Olympics for the first time in 2012 in London but if the Amateur International Boxing Association (AIBA) has anything to say about it, they will be wearing skirts.

Agreed, Astrid. I’m a young feminist from Melbourne and all I can say is: So what do the MEN have to wear to distinguish them from the women? What about blue arm bands for the boys, red for the girls? Why do we have to ‘pretty up’ the girls to show that they’re NOT men? Get F***nismed! :)
