A Spring Tale – Secrets of the Archives

Date: 19 September 2016

‘Secrets of the Archives’ – A Spring Tale

For 13 years the popular ‘Winter Tales’ Sunday afternoon series has provided a platform for talks by prominent women and raised funds for the Australian Women’s Archives Project. Join archivists from ANU, the National Library, the ACT Heritage Library and the Territory Records Office in spring, to hear about the work they do to build collections which preserve the records of Australian women; their favorite collections; surprises such as finding Dymphna Clark’s papers stored in a laundry cupboard. And what keeps them awake at night?

The talk will be followed by afternoon tea. This event is run in association with the Australian Women’s Archives Project.

Date: Sunday, 25 September, 2:00 -4:00 pm
Place: Fourth Floor Conference Room, National Library of Australia
Entry $15, includes afternoon tea
