Description

The whole company on stage after the finale of the revue, "Blue Horizon". The revue was under the direction of the Australian Army Amenities Service (AAAS) and involved NF482322 Lieutenant (Lt) Elva Baikie (AWAS) who was the Amenities Officer for the Army women's services which includes the Australian Army Medical Women's Service (AAMWS), Australian Army Nursing Service (AANS) as well as the AWAS. The revue was produced by Alan Cairnes and Dudley Simpson and it played to large crowds in an open air venue over several nights. Members of the Australian Women's Army Service (AWAS) were among the performers as were members of the Allied Forces. Darwin, NT. (Donor E. Batt)
