Summary
A member of the Liberal Party, Ashton Hurn was elected for the seat of Schubert in the South Australian House of Assembly at the election held on 19 March 2022. She was appointed Shadow Minnister for Health in that year and on 8 December 2025 was elected unopposed as Leader of the Liberal Party, and thus Leader of the Opposition.
