The Australian Women's Register

The papers of the Australian Society of Authors, a craft guild and not a union, active in three main fields: the author and the distribution or publication of his work when it is written; the author in his relations with the law of obscenity, copyright, etc.; and, the status of the writer within the community. Consist of quarterly and annual reports; statements of receipts and payments; circular letters; notices regarding seminars; correspondence; copyright discussions; and, biographies of members.
