Natalie Ward joined the Liberal Party in 1991 and was appointed to the New South Wales Legislative Council on 21 November 2017 to fill a casual vacancy. She held ministerial positions in the Perrottet Government and was elected Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party after that Government’s defeat at the March 2023 election.
