Bates, Barbie

 

A candidate committed to the preservation of public land, Barbie Bates ran as a candidate in the House of Representatives for Chifley in 2001, for Penrith in 2003 as a member of the Save Our Suburbs Party and as a candidate in the House of Representatives for Lindsay (Save the ADI site party) in 2004.


Career Highlights
Barbie Bates is a long-time resident of Western Sydney. She believes passionately in the importance of local opinion and campaigned to have the land being sold by the Department of Defence acquired and protected as a regional park and nature reserve.
