An active and hard-working member of the Liberal Party, Christine Bourne stood as a candidate in the 1995 Port Jackson elections and in the Mulgoa elections of 1999 and 2003. She was later elected Alderman of the Leichhardt Municipal Council. |

Christine Bourne has held many positions in the Liberal Party at local and state level, including being President of Glebe branch (1993-7) and secretary of the Drummoyne Branch (1991-3). She was a delegate to the State Council 1994-7 and has worked in the building industry since 1993, consulting on environmental matters. Christine completed a BA at the University of New England and later a Masters in Environmental Management. |
