Bourne, Christine (1949 - )

 
Manager and Environmental consultant
Born: 5 April 1949

An active and hard-working member of the Liberal Party, Christine Bourne stood as a candidate in the 1995 Port Jackson elections and in the Mulgoa elections of 1999 and 2003. She was later elected Alderman of the Leichhardt Municipal Council.


Career Highlights

Christine Bourne has held many positions in the Liberal Party at local and state level, including being President of Glebe branch (1993-7) and secretary of the Drummoyne Branch (1991-3). She was a delegate to the State Council 1994-7 and has worked in the building industry since 1993, consulting on environmental matters. Christine completed a BA at the University of New England and later a Masters in Environmental Management.
