Edna Phillips gave her address as Ashfield, a suburb of Sydney, when she ran for the seat of Wallsend in the Hunter Valley Region. She did not give any further information to the Newcastle Morning Herald, and although placed first on the ballot paper, polled only 3.3% of the votes cast. |
