Piper, Tania

 

Tania Piper has run for parliament only once. That was in 2003 when she represented the Christian Democrat Party in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly election for Baulkham Hills. At the time of her candidacy, she had lived in the Baulkham Hills electorate for 33 years. She was married to Keith Piper, the pastor of an independent Baptist Church in North Rocks, and they have four children. Tania Piper has taught scripture at local schools and is the published author of a Christian novel. She has completed four years training in Social Work at the University of Sydney and theological studies at the Sydney Bible Baptist College.
