Born: 27 January 1898  Canowindra, New South Wales, Australia.  Died: 01 June 1988  Canowindra.

Amelia Rygate was an ALP Member of the NSW Legislative Council between 7/9/1961 - 5/11/1978 (17 years 1 months 30 days). She was elected in 1961 and then releected in 1966.
