Jan Kronberg was elected MLC for the Eastern Metropolitan Region in November 2006, representing the Liberal Party.

Jan Kronberg was a marketing lecturer at Box Hill Institute before embarking upon a political career. She has worked as an advisor for various industry groups and government organisations. Jan is a member of the Lions Club, Parliament of Victoria; the National Council of Women, Victoria; Manningham Interfaith Network; and the Liberal Women’s Council of Victoria. She has served in a number of party positions including Vice Chairman of the Menzies Federal Electorate Council and Convenor of the Policy Committee for Community Services and Housing.
