Danii Coric stood as a candidate for the Australian Democrats Party in the Legislative Council Province of Melbourne at the Victorian state election, which was held on 30 November 2002. She was an unsuccessful candidate again in the November 2006 election in the new Legislative Council Region of Western Metropolitan.
