Lynda Blundell stood as an Independent candidate in the Legislative Assembly seat of Broadmeadows at the Victorian state election, which was held on 3 October 1992.

Lynda was a community advocate before being a "political candidate". She was the first woman to be the Mayor of Broadmeadows. She was one of the most spectacular and complex women who I could ever have as a friend.
