Summary

Amy Schauer taught cookery at the Brisbane Technical College from 1895 until 1922, when she was appointed senior instructress in the Domestic Science Branch, Department of Women's Work. With her sister, she wrote Cookery for Invalids (1908), Fruit Preserving and Confectionary (1908) and Theory of Cookery (1909).
