Summary

A member of the Australian Labor Party, Sharryn Jackson was elected to the House of Representatives of the Australian Parliament as the Member for Hasluck, Western Australia, in 2001, but was defeated in the 2004 election. She was re-elected in 2007 when the Rudd Labor Government came to power, but lost her seat again at the 2010 election.
