Summary

A member of the Country Liberal Party, Noel Padgham was elected to the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly representing Tiwi in 1977. From 1990-97 she represented the electorate of Nelson as an Independent. She holds the distinction of being the fifth longest serving woman in an Australian Parliamen, having served for 20 years and 4 months.
