At the Beijing Olympics, Kylie Palmer won gold for the 4x200 Womans relay team, with other members Stephanie Rice, Bronte Barratt and Linda MacKenzie. Kylie swam the fastest leg of the race for the Australian team, helping them to a world record time and defeating the teams from the U.S.A and China.
