Summary
A member of the Liberal Party, Helen Cross was elected to the Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory representing the electorate of Molonglo, in 2001. She served as an Independent from 2002 and lost her seat at the 2004 election.
Details
Cross runs her own marketing and events business.
She is President of the Phillip Traders’ Association; Vice-President of Women in Information and Communications; worked for the Local Chamber of Commerce, Canberra Festival and Canberra Symphony Orchestra.
Her community work includes helping the Smith Family, Clean-up Australia and Adopt-a-Road Programmes. Also she has helped raise funds for the Spastic Centre.
