Sue Ellery is a member of the Legislative Council, Western Australia, for the Australian Labor Party. She was elected to the Thirty-sixth Parliament of Western Australia for South Metropolitan Region on 10 February 2001, and re-elected in 2005 (for term commencing 22 May 2005). Ellery was again re-elected 6 September 2008 for term commencing 22 May 2009. She is the Minister for Child Protection, Community Services, Women's Interests, and Seniors and Volunteering.
